Patient Moving & Handling

The Patient Moving & Handling training course can be completed in a day and is run in conjunction with our Manual Handling Course.  It covers a range of topics in order to give the learner confidence to risk assess Patient Moving & Manual Handling tasks and perform said tasks within their workplace.

This course is intended for people who wish to receive the theory and practical skills required for correct Patient Moving & Handling

Healthcare workers and Carers are involved in moving and handling patients on a daily basis and can be easily injured if the correct equipment/method is not used to aid the moving and handling of patients.

This one-day programme is designed to train participants how to handle and move patients with the use of certain equipment and also recommend the best methods /techniques in a manner, which is safe for themselves and their patients.

Patient Moving and Handling Training is extremely useful in reducing the risk of injury to both carers and patients.
